Atlas Work
Many VA birders have been very busy this spring and summer with the 5-year Atlas Project, just begun, to document VA's breeding birds. Funded by the VA Dept. of Game and Inland Fisheries and coordinated through VA Society of Ornithology, it's a tremendous effort out in the field and then lots more work inputting data.
